Jinlang voted to build spunlace superfine fiber cloth
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information officially approved Jinlang's spunbond spunlace superfine fiber nonwoven project. According to reports, this advanced project requires an investment of approximately 100 million yuan. While the central government has allocated a few million yuan, the remaining funds will be covered through bank loans and company resources. The first phase of the project is expected to have an annual production capacity of 2,000 tons and is scheduled to start operations in 2011. Currently, Golden Wave is actively preparing for the project launch.
Jinlang, a subsidiary of China Hengtian Group Co., Ltd., is a state-owned enterprise based in Guangzhou. It specializes in the production and post-processing of nonwoven fabrics. The company operates a factory in Guangzhou and a spunbond facility in Egypt. Jinlang is also the first manufacturing plant in China to establish a spunbond spunlace ultra-fine nonwoven fabric production line.
According to available information, only Germany, South Korea, and Japan each have one such production line abroad. In addition, three companies from Sanjiang in China have also developed their own lines, bringing the total number of global production lines to four. With the new line, Golden Wave will become the fifth in the world to produce spunbond spunlace ultra-fine nonwoven fabric.
This type of nonwoven fabric features high strength, with fiber fineness reaching around 0.1d, offering softness and three-dimensional consolidation. It is considered one of the most promising products in the nonwoven fabric industry, representing a major technological breakthrough. Its main applications include advanced synthetic leather fabric, high-grade filter cloth, premium wipes, and clothing materials.
The project marks a significant step forward for the Chinese nonwoven industry, showcasing its growing capability to compete on the global stage.
