This has led to a long-standing tradition where every household engages in the art of basket-making and weaving. In recent years, several primary and secondary schools in the area have actively participated in national curriculum reforms by integrating traditional grass weaving into their educational programs. During the "Liuyi" festival, the community and elderly residents were moved by performances like "Yan is a Woven Small Hand," a modern Huai Opera, and a dance titled "Yang Willow." The event received widespread praise and brought positive social impact.
To encourage creativity, the school uses both qualitative and quantitative assessments during evaluations, focusing on students’ progress and skill development.
