Bolivia once again exported 60 tons of textiles to Venezuela

A 60-ton textile from the second ship of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, arrived in Venezuela last week.

Huáscar Ajata, deputy minister of trade and export of Bolivia, said that this boat textile includes 100,000 sets of clothing, of which 30% is already paid by Venezuela. The remaining 70% require payment.

The first boat, worth US$2.2 million, arrived in Caracas in mid-November.

In addition to the second boat textile, Bolivia has exported 180 tons of textiles to Venezuela.

The boat's garments were purchased on Tarsilon and Fez tariffs and were included in the framework of the Venezuelan-Bolivian Business Roundtable held in June in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

As of September 2011, Bolivia’s exports to Venezuela reached US$ 236 million. Bolivia exports textiles, clothing, wood products and processed foods such as soybeans and sunflower oil to Venezuela.
